  6. IFF Master is a program that allows you to have a view inside the structure
  7. of  IFF files. It is not yet another picture viewer or sound sample player,
  8. but  it displays the internal entities (chunks) of a file. For example, the
  9. headers  of pictures (ILBM) or sound samples (8SVX) are displayed in clear,
  10. so  you  can  directly read the size and depth of the image or the sampling
  11. rate.
  12.  
  13. Current features (V 1.5) include:
  14.  - MUI application
  15.  - localized GUI (with AmigaOS 2.1 or later)
  16.  - online help, bubble help (with MUI 3.0 or later)
  17.  - Extensive chunk type library (currently 51 form types, 333 known chunks,
  18.    94 of these with comprehensive structure description)
  19.  - Chunk contents are presented alternatively as structure, text or hexdump
  20.  - Bit fields and enumeration types are displayed in clear
  21.  - Fixed point values are printed in decimal (e.g. 8SVX.VHDR.Volume)
  22.  - Callback hooks for special attributes, e.g. the Mode-ID
  23.    inside the CAMG chunk is de-referenced (e.g. as "PAL: Hires").
  24.  - Colors in ILBM.CMAP chunks are displayed, with AmigaOS 3.0 or later.
  25.  - clipboard support
  26.  - chunk contents and partial FORMs can be saved
  27.  - AppWindow and AppIcon

  34. NEW  new chunks: MUI prefs, FinalWriter, Shrink Archive, Mand2000, ChaosPro
  35.      ImageFX Thumbnail, Imagine Render Time
  36. NEW  Support for all IEEE float formats (32, 64 and 96 bit) (ILBM/MAND)
  37. FIX  Key `o' works again (activates string gadget)
  38. FIX  AppIcon problem hopefully solved (thanks to Alessandro Zummo)
